Ultra-lightweight bike build.
For Copenhagen Bike Show, we built a custom, ultra-lightweight build under the UCI road weight limit of 6.8kg. We pushed the limits of our frame, and left no stones untouched for a lightweight and uncompromising build weighing in at 6780g.
The FENRIS SUB 6.8 build achieves a total weight of 6,780 grams, thanks to meticulous component selection and an unwavering focus on details. Each part was chosen not only for its performance but also for its contribution to overall weight savings. The result is a bike that is both incredibly lightweight and robust, fully prepared to meet the demands of gravel riding.
Key highlights of this build include a clear coat paint job weighing just 25 grams, which enhances the bike’s sleek appearance while adding minimal weight. The Sislent Wild LC wheelset, at 1,230 grams, is designed for optimal performance and durability on gravel terrain, while the Sislent Aero+ handlebars, weigh in at 275 grams, without compromising strength or comfort.
The finishing touches include a full CeramicSpeed bearing and pulley wheel upgrade, ensuring smooth and efficient drivetrain and steering. An ultralight Prologo Nago 3D saddle adds comfort without sacrificing weight savings, and Carbon Cybrei bottle cages, at just 13 grams.
The final result is a bike that pushes the boundaries of weight optimisation while retaining the comfort and rideability essential for demanding gravel rides.
